It closed on Saturday 12 October, 34.BI-MU, the biennial international exhibition dedicated to the machine tool, robot, automation, digital and additive manufacturing and subcontracting industry, staged at fieramilano Rho from Wednesday 9 October.
34.BI-MU showcased the best of international industry production, an expression of the offerings of over 750 companies.
What technological solutions did we present during BI-MU?
Tool management on the workshop and production process optimisation are interconnected aspects that are crucial to the success of a manufacturing business. Efficient tool management not only improves organisation, but also helps optimise the entire production process.
This event was very important: in fact, we presented for the first time to the Italian market all the innovations in the tool presetting and tool management sector by Elbo Controlli NIKKEN.

- the NEW E346BA presetter: the AUTOFOCUS function allows all tools to be measured automatically, without manual operator intervention
- the NEW E46BP presetter, which stems from the need to have a tool presetter capable of semi-autonomously carrying out the positioning and measurement operations of the cutting edges, in order to further reduce the risk of errors and automate the presetting operation
- the NEW E46CA presetter with AUTOFOCUS function
- the NEW AIS (Advanced Integrated Solutions) division which aims to provide you with the software to extract and manage the data you need to improve your organisation, accompanying you towards process efficiency
- TP32 for warehouse management and TID for tool identification
- TTS (Tool Tracking System) is a solution that allows any presetter to verify the exact position of all your tools in your machine shop
