JIMTOF show takes place every 2 years at Tokyo Big Sight (Tokyo International Exhibitions Center) in Tokyo, Japan.
JIMTOF is the most important machine tool trade show in Japan with regional importance for Asia. Since 1962, JIMTOF has continued to attract attention from machine tools users in sectors including the automobile, construction, aircraft, ship building and energy industries earning a position of central importance in manufacturing in Asia.
The show is focused on machine tools (metal cutting and metal forming), machine tool accessories and other equipment including precision tools as well as measuring instrument and presents the whole spectre of metal working technologies.
We were guests at NIKKEN Kosakusho Works Ltd. booth (West Hall 2 - W2032). JIMTOF is an excellent opportunity to introduce Elbo Controlli NIKKEN products and solutions for the toolroom to the Asian market, which is very receptive to new technologies.
What did we exhibit at JIMTOF?
- The E346V+, Hathor SIX A and E46LA presetter machines: by allowing you to prepare your tools for subsequent processing, vertical presetters optimize the time it takes to set the machine tool up and reduce machine downtime
- TID (Automatic Tool Identification System - in Japan called eTOP) is a solution which allows Elbo Controlli NIKKEN presetters to quickly identify tools and send correction data directly to the numerical control without interrupting any operation in progress. Elbo Controlli NIKKEN has created the ideal appliance to manage tool identification data.
The collaboration between NIKKEN Kosakusho Works Ltd. and Elbo Controlli NIKKEN has lasted for more than 20 years, a relationship of mutual trust and esteem that has been consolidated over time, as shown by the photo of the two presidents (Mr. Akiharu Nagahama president of NIKKEN and Mr. Massimiliano Tasca president of Elbo Controlli NIKKEN).
